so...any Amiga fans around?

I ask because I just git hold of an old A600, to bring back some fond memories. Going to do it up a little with a CF card reader upgrade, ram etc and already got it hooked up to my 32" LCD telly, looks great. Only problem is, I aint got a mouse that works, or joystick, so, if your an amiga fan, and have some spare hardware, please let me know!
cheers!

I had a VIC 20, then the next up a sort of business machine flat and black, forgot its name, then an A500, next an A2000 with more bolt ons and accelerators than could be fitted inside, then Commodor went down and I have to put up with this Crxxx that we are all forced to use, Oh well it works I suppose, well sort of, did try Cloanto an A500 emulator but it was not reliable.

wow, im surprised at how many of you have had this old kit!

like you guys, ive worked my way through the commodore range, had a Atari STE (520!) and so on. A few years back, i bought an Amiga a500 or a A1200, cant remember which, but i never got chance to use it. I had it networked and everything. just lately, I got a hankering for it again, so a mat eof mine has given me this A600 to play with.

Im missing a ton of stuff, so I may end up buying another A1200 to play with as a precursor to buying an OS4.1 machine, see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSOZOzbJqGw

awesome video. theres also a three part blog from a chap, you tube amiga 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gD9NPPiuUec

now thats a good vid, and shows that the new OS is as modern as Linux or Mac os, so has web broswer etc, which has swung it for me. Full machine appears to be £695, power pc spec, and apparently very fast but on low spec hardware.

all i expect from my A600, is to play a few games, thats it. I dont want to fart about with WinUAE, I like the real thing!
