Fixed it today, thanks. It was the seam between the inner wing and bulkhead in the engine bay at the n/s. Heat from the welding had melted it. Trouble was it is so tight around there, still can't get the bottom wiper relay bolt back in but I'm off to see a man with slim hands tomorrow:lol. However I still want to remove the scuttle panel below windscreen and clean it out as it's full of crud and staying damp so this wont do the body much good.
Jim
Glad ya got it sorted :thumbs
Took my scutle off when the new screen went in & fook me there was a lot of shite under it
Put ya gloves on :lol

We don't wear sissy gloves up north, a bit of muck don't worry us:lol:lol:lol
There's also a leak point behind it so wanted to make sure it's sealed too for belt n braces. All that wet mud can't do the body work any good as it never seems to dry out.
Jim
Yeah the water does seem to sit there...
It wont on mine any more due to some drain holes being carefully drilled :naughty
Removed me sunroof tonight & replaced it with a sheet of galvanized metal so no more leeks there :lol
The only interior left in mine is the dash, steering wheels & front seats :augie
