I'm back!
Well my legs are starting to feel sore now  The ride took a little longer than planned, a number of small accidents & a man had a heart attack on Ditchling beacon meant in some sections there was some bottle necks. Tragically, the the man who had the heart attack died. :(

But depsite all that happened we had a great ride & I managed 48mph down the side of Ditchling beacon not my personal best but still fun, i'll beat it next year for sure!
We made it to the finish line in about 6 1/2 hours & there were huge crowds lining Maderia drive to the finish line & it was certainly a novel experience to be cheered by so many folks!

We plan to do the ride again next year & I can't wait! :thumb2
Here's some pics I thought I'd share with you...

This may look like a hold up but it's actually a world record attempt at how many cylcists could fit into the worlds largest shoe box. :p

The top of Ditchling Beacon, even though there was a huge number of cyclists pushing their bikes up I managed to ride most of the climb, even though it was at walking pace!

Another gurning idiot waiting to cross the finish line!

Well done Loz, hope you raised lots for the good cause. So sad about the guy who died.
My wife, daughter and I did that same run some few years back and it was a bunch of fun, apart from the rather sore nether regions for a few days after! (Didn't make Ditchling Beacon all the way in the saddle though!!)
