When I saw today Pete getting into the Mistral as opposed to the Disco, the difference has to be seen to be believed, so much easier, so all those that say this is the wrong motor for Pete, I can you are wrong, seeing is the be all and end all, Rick

So now that solarman and swifty have your truck humming along do tell what do you think of these trucks when running as they should?

only drove home via motorway last night , but its a totally different truck !, so smooth and easy to drive , loads of power when you flick the switch to power mode ( for quick overtaking :augie ) , sheila was dissapearing behind me in the disco , i had to slow down lol ,a few cars on the road home where flashing their lights at me , but i couldnt see anything wrong ( untill i stopped for a rest ) then i noticed i had the spotlights on , ive never had those working before lol , today im going to riddlesden to see a few buddies , so its normal roads today .... im gonna love it !:D ....... its a totally different car :D:D.

Briggie.
If you don't drink do not have more than one Kestrel Super! I worked for Scottish and Newcastle at the time that brew was developed. It is serious stuff man. When we started sending it into Chapeltown Leeds the drug dealers were well peed off as the local clientele were all too happy on the Kestrel to do the other stuff!

briggie
24-05-2010, 22:04

just one thing concerns me a little ...autoglass have never heard of a mistral , but i told them its basically a terrano , so they are fitting a terrano windscreen..... it is the same isnt it ? ( i hope )

being new to the forum i was not around to contribute, but have read the thread about briggie being ripped off and well done to everyone who helped.
I have seen a similar situation on a reptile forum i use where everyone chipped in and payed for surgery on a members pet,its great when everyone pulls together :thumbs
