Car striped out completely, 10 inch X 5 foot half inch thick (min) steel plate bolted to drivers door, bolts and plates to bonnet, full harness four point fixing to roll cage, roll cage made from 4 inch box, big bolts and plates to floor and roof, one gallon fuel tank sealed behind roll cage, full helmet, fire proof overalls and gloves, should be able to withstand head on with another car at 60 mph contact speed, ouch,, if you want the full version look for ORCI in google, Rick

Ok I got pretty busy myself.
We are at Smallfields and Dover 23rd & 24th.
Don't know if Paul (bat 21) has been in touch, I was wondering how far you are from him and whether you have a second driver with you going back home next WE?

its a long way off course with 2 motors. juicy ones at that ... i could offer to do the rac thing if that helps pretend to be on holiday or something
or if you get it to bat on sunday eve or monday ill gladly pick you up in the fiesta and run you back to sussex
but i thought briggie was collecting his truck from you . so that leaves the spare engine to go to bat or the supplier ... cant that be pelleted
just throwing ideas into the pot

Yes sorry do not know what part of Wales you are, I think it is too far for Briggie maybe and he is not well at the moment, yes palletising the engine is an option but still have to get his truck up north, open to offers anyone, we must be able to relay it up to him somehow, perhaps we should start a thread on this?

A pelleted engine? Interesting concept LOL.
Rick, Colin is in South Wales so he goes home from eastbourne via M4.
Probably best to talk to Paul to find out where he got the engine and what the cheapest/fastest way of getting it collected from you is. You've done enough mate!
