my dearly beloved sheila has just told me that if im thinking of putting my cb aerial ( its 1.89 metre tall plus mount ) .. on HER disco , i can think again :eek::o

no .... what she means is she doesnt want me to fix it on the spare wheel carrier , and have great bit of bluddie metal wire stuck in the air ( her words ) ... roughly translated .... if you wanna stick a big bit of metal on a car ...... USE YA FUFFING OWN :o

because obviously my mag mount wont work on the disco , so i gotta fix it to the spare wheel carrier

oh ya can, just need a bit of steel inside..

tell her just need to CUT the roof linning to get it up to the roof, simples...

though a mate of mine sits his in the boot inside, no good for a long way but ok for convoy work..

my disco is a 300tdi and its got a tin roof.
have a mag mount on with no problems.
