3 years isnt enough...i understand the situation, and in a sense it was an accident, but it was an avoidable accident. As you suggest, we are preached to by the law, and look? 3 years is an insult to the life that woman lived.

and to not show remorse? total cock.

His behaviour is appalling and its an absolute tragedy for the family of the poor lady.

It was not an accident, it was a collision caused at least in part by him. The fact he apparently didnt react and brake until after the impact demonstrates his lack of attention.

He does deserve a good stretch but whilst 3 years seems to be lenient lets just remember that lenient sentencing seems to be a trend these days and murder ie with the intent present , would sometimes not get much more of a sentence!

One small point though, he isnt , never was and never will be a police officer. Thats the press looking for the angle. He has worked as a special constable. It is subtly different. At the time of the collision he was no different to any other incompetent member of the pubic out driving.

Most police I have ever met have been great , ''Special'' Cuntstables are a breed unto themselves.

Anyone can make a mistake but the facy he tried to cover it up makes it worse.

Cheeky so and so. Im bloody skint :nenau

Specials can exercise the powers of constable whilst on duty, whilst not specialing they are bog standard citizens. They have nothing more than common law powers like all of us.

A Police Constable has warranted powers and obligations 24/7 and with it many constraints on lifestyle etc and tbh decreasing renumeration for that.

As far as the crime scene assesor goes I can only presume he did that role as Police Staff. Confused? you will be :D Police Staff are effectively civilians carrying out various tasks, usually admin, soco etc.

He isnt wasnt and never will be a cop :thumb2

I'd agree. He must be a particularly dumb individual to not twig the powers of investigation he has allegedly participated in would be applied 100% to him following a fatal.

The man is stupid.
