just use windows sound recorder, that should do it if you select the correct sound source :augie

It's as naughty as the windows snipping tool. :D:augie

On my netbook I had to loop the 3mm head phone jack through through to the 3mm mic jack & then told the mic to 'listen' but the levels need fettling, it's a bit quiet.

AHH i see what your doing, that snto what I meant. you used to be abel to use Sound Recorder to record the sound playing on the pc, so, try this little beauty instead, might work...
