and if you forget, you will be late for what ever too.
spring forward, fall (autumn) back.
see in news every times clocks change some waffle
about benefits of staying on bst along with farmers
outcry about their stock, like how do the cows know
waht time it is any way?
seems even rospa reckon there would be less accidents
in the darker mornings than the current dark evenings
in winter and gmt.
seems all this clock business is down to the railways as
before that every where had local time which was as
much as 12 minutes difference between say london/anglia
and cornwall.
said leeds was 6 minutes behind london, i'd say more like
6 years, sorry south/west yorkshire joke.
and finally.... according to qi gmt is used at south pole
for what its worth, guess same logic applies to north pole.
thanks mate...

.
Gotta disagree with you there, cows on father-in-laws farm know when its milking time... twice daily all come and que by the gate - and then even know which order to go in and where to stand!!!!!! Strange but true! :)
Anyway I dont care about loosing an hour... lighter evenings at last, roll out the BBQ! :lol

Can't wait I love it at this time of year. I like the clocks changing but due to my hobby i leave a clock on gmt/utc or z as it's also known so sad:doh

sure they know if its say 8 hours since last time and got full udders?
but do they have digital or analogue time pieces, perhaps like me
dont have a watch and rely on the clock on their mobiles?
i had a cow that knew the time , but i divorced her :lol

thats fine by me progress isnt everything. and thats coming from
largest village in britain.
hey sheffield is always last to get owt, geographically it has a northern
outlook, well north east, the don valley. the pennines to south ish and west
have discouraged travelling south for centuries.
but then why would anyone want to leave god's own city. built on 7 hills just
like rome.

sure it is really its just that steel city is described locally having grown out
of several villages and gaining its city status relatively recently with the
industrial revolution. also known for its close nit community, not exactly
inbred more insular and find folks know each other via mutual friends
hence the village term.
also go the peak district on door step for recreation and laning of course.
