Anyone any experience of this?

They'll supposedly pay up to £500, with a £25 excess up to 5 times a year for parts & labour.
I added it (multi-car) to my normal AA Roadside/Relay cover last month and decided yesterday to add the Homestart option too.
Hi mate
had it for a few years now, just stick to the rules
1 - always get a receipt for an annual full service
2 - even if you think you may need to claim ALWAYS call them out because the repair is based on the AA patrol diagnosis
Hopefully you wont need it, I had a landrover Discovery befolre my Nissan and it was very useful

I keep the receipts for bulbs!
Hopefully not..... I think the E Class will soldier on for many more miles with minimal problems, the TII seems a little more temperamental.
i'd have it if my car was young enough, its a good plan from the AA, again its like anything insurance, just stick to the rules and it will pay off, literally.

Clivvy, it only costs a couple more quid for an old car (ie 10yo &/or 100k miles+).
Makes no difference to the cost if multi-car, I've included 3.
Whether it's worthwhile or not... I guess time will tell!

do you have to get them garrage serviced etc?

Yup, that is the case. Doesn't have to be a main dealer though, any VAT registered garage.

but for the breakdown repairs, do you have to use an aa approved repairer . or can you shop around for the best price

I believe you can get it repaired at a registered garage of your choice.
Probably tricky to shop around too much if you're broken down & the AA man wants to know where to take you.
