Love the last bit:

IF THIS DONT WORK THEN YOU PROBABLY NEED MAJOR WORK!

:lol:lol

In all seriousness that stuff can cause problems in things like your rad matrix and heater matrix. It is only a last resort bodge, not a fix in 99% of jobs inmho

hi dave, it's not that rad weld or the cigar thing you put in the rad, it's a liquid with like a copper coloured particles, i watched it stop a leak in a rad that had a crack in the header tank, it does'nt go into a sludge, and that motor was my other t2 and all is well to date. :thumb2

I've had some horrendous experiences with radweld and the cylinder head weld equivalent :(

yes dave, i have had similar problems with rad weld, a few years ago i put a tin in, and it stopped the leak in rad, but blocked the heater matrix,:doh, lucky for me it was a easy job to change the matrix. :thumbs

anyway i hope you are feeling better now, there is plenty of virus's and bugs about at the moment. :thumb2

i have used K seal a cpuple of times, the old diahatsu sport track petrol engines, and the later terrios are prone to cracked blocks, in both cases i have come across this has worked with no problems!

Wouldn't have belived it if I had not seen it but the white of a goose egg in tractor radiator worked.
Well if you wanted to boil a goose egg in a tractor radiator you could say it worked.. it didn't stop the leak but it did boil the egg!!!!!!!!
