hi driving through nottingham is something i rely do.
but going to the hospital every day ive seen the traffic camera van several times ,but only just i wasnt speeding and the van just sits at the side of the road.
its a white transit orange light strip on the roof ,big police sign across the roof and down the sides and across the back doors also pictures of a camera ,so you would think it would be easy to spot.
i came across it again tonight at 6 30 pm still working ,operator was sat looking out of the back door looking through a speed camera ,i was cold in the truck so he must have been frozen .
traffic was gridlocked and doing 20mph.:doh
i was surprised to see him out in the dark .

But you realise they get paid overtime on the camera vans don't you....they aren't officially manned by police (in fact not always coppers anyway, often civilians), and any that are working are moonlighting (with official blessing) for the camera partnership which is a seperate entity....

Still, god bless 'em all.

NOT!!!
