Hello
I have a Nissan Teranno II and I live in Australia. The airconditioning on our car is really bad, it doesn't work very well and I wanted to see whether other Teranno owners have the same problem. Could someone please let me know if they are having the same problem? I've been told by the person I bought the car from that it's because the Teranno was made for Europe not Australia and that it doesn't need regassing.

hi, you could check for any leaks, either a green or yellow kind of stain. have a look here, see if this helps

The a/c in my truck is by far the most powerful I've experienced for a while- it will happily maintain a 7 deg C vent temp on a 25+deg c day.
You're obviously needs a re-gas / overhaul. Compressors do wear in time- gauge pressures tell alot about the health of a system to an a/c specialist.

Never heard of aircon that didn't need regassing. And its built in Spain for some pretty warm climes in Europe (30-40C) so should be man enough.....will need regassing every few years at the very least.....about a £60 job here in UK but probably much cheaper over there since its the norm for you guys?:thumbs:thumbs Let us know how it goes won't you?!

It's true it's true,all A/C systems will leak gas over time,FACT.
Probably shorter time there under load so stick some gas up it and bish bosh, sorted:D
Unless you've been sold a duffer.........:o

Could this guy be suffering the exact opposite to us? When the Pollen Filter gets clogged theres hardly any air flow so our heaters are poor. Surely by the same logic it wont blow much cool air either?
I had mined regassed last year and it's pretty good. Don't forget that AC systems loose their gas when not used so this may also of played a part in your problems too.
