View Full Version : Gwent Police - COW - The film that will stop you txting and driving **VERY GRAPHIC**
Ok well I caught sight of this on CNN US and NBC News, Its a ~4minute TRAILER of a 30minute film created for around £10,000 by Gwent Police force.
The film aims to prevent drivers from texting while driving.... and to be fair if the hole thing is as "graphic" as this trailer, It definatly a step in the right direction. :thumb2
More info about the project/film is here >> http://www.gwent.police.uk/leadnews.php?a=2172
BEFORE YOU PLAY I'D SUGGEST ANY CHILDREN BE KICKED OUT OF THE ROOM AND ANYONE WHO DOESN'T LIKE BLOOD/GRAPHIC IMAGES SHOULD ALSO GO. THIS VIDEO PULLS NO PUNCHES.

Well the one thing thats certain is that if someone DOES have an accident its a piece of piss to prove if they were using their phone at the time and trust me, they will take you apart until they get you.....I've watched it.

texting is worse than talking,. but both are dangerous... we know the risks
hope we can live with ourselves if we cause something like shown in the video.
could easily be our families in that situation, so ill try to stop

I'd agree with that - texting defo the worst, takes too much concentration...

I'm getting there, the bad days are starting to become less frequent, but weird thing are still happening.
I went to the hospital yesterday and the consultant asked me to hop up on the bed and lie on my left hand side... I couldn't work out which was my left hand side, he must have thought I was a right doughnut :doh

bet they see a lot worse, yours was bad, but your all alive and on your feet, some just dont get to go home anymore, others have spine or brain injuries
ok it will take time, you will have bad days as well as good , but your getting there slowly, thats the main thing
it could have been so much worse
and the other driver was probably on the phone texting

I will show it to my 2 1/2 year old daughter that was nearly killed in a car accident and everyday i look at my wife that is crippled due to the accident .
If it had'nt been for the trooper that she was driving they would doth be dead

And just to put you in the full picture Susan was driving home from the stables to home when the on coming car lost control and ploughed head first into her .
She was doing 10mph at point of impact the other driver did'nt brake (no skid marks ) .
Hope your not wincing now :)
Edited. Sorry I just had a rant at some who admit they text whilst driving. I've removed it.
