hello all, after 2 dead Pajeros (still have one if anyone wants it) I came across a newly imported Mistral - at the right price:clap
I am into Jago kit cars and am building a jago based 4 x 4 at present, hence the need for a reliable tow car - no good driving a car to competitions when they are sure to break often.
Only problem I have with the Mistral is the vauuum leaking on the auto box, which affects the reliability of the parking brake. Also perhaps the absolute maze of extra wiring from all the Jap extras, most of which are now gone.
I also hope to add wireless central locking - have the interface and the fobs but not an idea where to begin:confused:

I'm assuming the Mistral has the same box as the Terrano? If so, I thought the parking brake on the auto box was a mechanical arrangement that locks the transmission.........or have I misunderstood?

sorry did not write it down yet - pm possible here?
re parking brake, when I come to start it in the morning a loud buzzer sounds which cancels when I put the handbrake on.

sellers of terrano accessories:
be wary of www.formula4.co.uk
I bought "Nissan Terrano (all) Universal Mud Mats" for £38 including postage, they dont fit the terrano at all. Now they tell me they have trim markings on them (they don't) they also state that the "universal" means they will fit all 4 x 4's not specificly the terrano.
told them their description is misleading - answer: "return them at your own cost we will refund the cost of the mats less our own P&P charges of £10.24"

over to trading standards...........................
