there is nowhere to put one into on a standard truck to lift it
good fast jacks but not very safe unless you really know what your doing
i used many of my cat lives on one of them:augie

They're called Jack mates - EBAY (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Genuine-Hi-lift-Jack-lift-mate-lift-on-the-wheel-high_W0QQitemZ370155805704QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Ca rsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item562f015c08&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1683|293%3A1| 294%3A50)
Not much use for changing wheels or casting though. To change a wheel you can of course then wedge something under the axle to hold it once yo've lifted the truck up.

yes but would they fit on other body parts or pig tails .
suppose im lucky my bumpers are cut to the minimum so i can get to the bumper mounts etc
You normally use Hi-Lifts with rock sliders and custom bumpers etc by themselves or as posted with attachments very handy bit of kit especially when used with waffle boards get you out of most situations :thumbs
