The conversion of Watts to Amps is governed by the equation Amps = Watts/Volts

For example 12 watts/12 volts = 1 amp

150 watts/12 volts = 12.5 amps,

if you have a 110Ah battery, (bear in mind that leisure batteries are designed for slow discharge,) the on-load voltage will remain constant until the battery approaches it's discharge capacity.

the battery will be 80% discharged after approximately 6.8 hours, around which the voltage will drop sgnificantly enough to stop the invertor from working.

how about a generator ? eblag have plenty....... a little 2 stroke would do the job, about 500w peak.

Then a combined mixer - amplifier unit, pair of cheapo speakers, or hire them in from a local pa company?

Easy solution.
