Whats the max wattage of radio?
50 - 200 in my book, i suppose it depends if its a ghetto blaster or not.:lol:thumb2
The conversion of Watts to Amps is governed by the equation Amps = Watts/Volts
For example 12 watts/12 volts = 1 amp
150 watts/12 volts = 12.5 amps,
if you have a 110Ah battery, (bear in mind that leisure batteries are designed for slow discharge,) the on-load voltage will remain constant until the battery approaches it's discharge capacity.
the battery will be 80% discharged after approximately 6.8 hours, around which the voltage will drop sgnificantly enough to stop the invertor from working.

Thanks Dave. been trying it, with the stuff ive got its just not LOUD enough..
so got to re think....
how about a generator ? eblag have plenty....... a little 2 stroke would do the job, about 500w peak.
Then a combined mixer - amplifier unit, pair of cheapo speakers, or hire them in from a local pa company?
Easy solution.
