View Full Version : mot work.
update on mot work on my t2, welded inner cill and also cut out rear seat belt mounts, it did'nt fail on these, but as they do rust bad, i thought while it stripped out might as well weld them, and a small plate on inner wheel arch.
track rod end and front link arms to do, then the cv gaitor, got a stick on one.
getting there slowly. hopefully in for test next week. :doh:bow

Good luck :thumb2
Mines just gone through yesterday. Failed on a track rod end which I thought was a bit wobbly but they decided was too wobbly.
Last time i got the tracking done I saw the hassle the fitter had even with heat. As I havent got access at home to heat or tracking gear theyre fixing it all up at a sensible price and I'm picking it up in an hour or so :thumb2
Cant wait to see the emmision figures running on vege oil with hiclones & k&n :augie
I would be interested to know how you get on with the emission levels too, I have heard that the CO can be a little higher with non-hydrocarbon fuels, so be interesting to see.

Mine went through last week but not sure about emmisions, all mine needed was a front shocker lower bushg but as most will know you need the whole shocker. However I knew the sills needs a dose of looking at a couple of months ago so I had both sides done inner and outer, last year I had rear seat belt mounts done too. So I'm hoping with a little TLC mine should be OK for a few years longer now.:thumbs
