Very shiny!
Did you get the winow guards or did they come with it?
Window guards came with the motor, standard with the import, i think.
I had Just had it cleaned as I have fitted bits missing or broken when I bought it, bits C/o Paul (parking mirror and rear light lense) and nejones (towbar), thanks again guys. :thumb2:thumb2

very nice.. i can see whats missing now off my A Bar..
Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Had a few niggles with the truck.
wheel wobble over 60, this has significantly reduced to almost nothing by new tyres being fitted and properley balanced.
A squeel that seems to be coming from the front, that despite 4 new tyres, both FW hubs being rebuilt, wheels bearings adjusted and greased, all belts renewed and 3 days in a garage IT STILL SQUEELS. :nenau:nenau
Conclusion - it will now squeel forever (See tech tip: turn the stereo up) or it will break then i will discover the cause - answers on a post code please.
Had a few 4x4's but it will be a long while before i the Nissan marque for another.
Thanks for all the tech tips and parts, excellent group of people on this site, was a previous member of i think the now defunct Frontera owners group and avoided all landy clubs like the plague so a novice to groups such as this one.
Thanks again

Are you loosing any coolant, could it be the water pump?
I guess it would depend if the squeel is speed dependant or rev dependant, to help locate the problem.
It might be the alternator bearing or power steering.
How often and when does it happen?
Can you make it do it on demand..?
Just might help to locate the problem.
You haven't run over any pigs recently have you?:lol
No coolant loss
No steering squeel
Does not happen when stationary or when you rev the engine, even to the red line.
Generally speed dependent, but can be exagerated by road surface. (new tyres fitted ... no change)
Does not sound like tyre noise on the road as new tyres have not got an aggresive tread pattern, almost completely road biased (purposely bought to eliminate tyres as the problem).
Not gear box as it does it in neutral.
I think a brake overhaul is next.
But it stops well and straight and steers straight with no wander at any speed.
Only done 91k and i have put 4k of those on the clock
Thanks for the tips will post the problem and solution when found.

It could be the sliders on the front brake calipers, there are various threads on this. The caliper has to move from side to side, since the pistons are only on one side. These slider bolts do sieze, and removing them, de-rusting and regreasing them often solves that problem.
