hi just some info please, can you tow a automatic 4x4 with a towing dolly as long as the rear wheels are of the ground on the dolly, can it cause damage ps just a quick thanks to all the messages recieved about my mav.

cant you just take the rear drive shaft off, to tow it on a dolly

4 wheel drives have to be off the ground ;)
You can only move them short distances ;)

Doesnt the transfer box need warm fluid running through it.?
ie the engine running.? Or it could damage it.?
My friend recoverd my Scooby once from a track day after i burnt the brakes :eek:
Front wheels went onto a dolly & he strapped the rears on to individual trollys.!

It should be ok because of the free wheeling hubs.

How far you going? from where to where? i have a trailer that wil carry it.:thumb2

Don't think you'll find this is a problem at all, providing its in neutral.

Its bump starting thats a big no-no on an automatic box.:)
