ah, sorry
thay are 10% bigger, i think not i think we can go plus 5% on standard.. its the width 265 thats the trouble, 1 1/4" wider. might work with spacers though, BEST persone to ask really is Extreme-4x4. drop him a PM

Thats the exact same size and tyre as i have on and with a 2" lift i had to, remove the mud flaps. Cut the front bumper, modify the front arch liner, hammer flat and weld/paint etc the seam in the back of the front arches, cut the steel bumper reinforcer to remove the wings that support the ends of the front bumper. An replace compression rod bushes to stop wheel moving back and forth. After all that they now fit an don'r rub but i have maintained full axle articulation.
PS - if you decide against em can you let me know who, where how much etc as i am after 2 spares but would buy 4/5 if they come as a set.

I have to confess to confusion like Mark....how does that tyre size he's spec'd relate to a 31x10.5xR15 that allegedly fits on with little more than a mudflap removal?
I just can't see that an extra 15cms either side of the wheel and 10 cms on the height are going to make any difference surely? The bigger issue is whether a 265 would fit on a standard rim, and I don't think it would without causing a problem....when I had to stop using Pirelli Scorpions (the original fitment on the T2 when it was properly built (!)) the garage sometimes struggled to get weights on with different tyres of allegedly the same aspect ratio because they were slightly fatter....

@fraid it does mate. Had my old Insa turbo s on with mud flaps off and flat seem etc.
BUT with the 32s then you do need that little bit more. In my case a bigger hammer, but Trex is right:cool:
By the way which are the compression bushes? I think mine may be goosed:augie

Compression rod bushes - the ones at the body to rod mount at the rear of the lower wishbone arrangement. My advice is buy Nissan ones, I'm not happy with th epoly ones from Milners and will be changing them back to new rubber ones sometime.

Sounds worse than it is really. As those tyres are pretty aggressive, are you planning lots of muddy days out?:sly
If so then def. worth it:cool:
It will only take you about an hour to trim the plastic bumper, and cut the brakets. You dont need to cut the inner wheel arch, but you do need to flatten the flange:naughty A big hammer will sort it. Take the flaps off first:o
If your comp. bushes are ok then away you go:thumbs

Aye not all tyres are the exact size they say on the sdewall, some are bigger, some are smaller. Generally remoulds tend to be larger but not always.
Extra offset can help with wider tyres but can make matters worse with taller tyres.

31's will fit with any offset rims, without too much work if at all. mine were ok and i had giant offset rims then
my 35's went on, its the offset rims that make the hard work up to about 33' tyres . to get up to 35 i hag to mess with the suspension etc so took a week to set up
terra is right up to 33" tyres its easy .1-2 hours to set up if any work involved at all

Nice boots:thumbs
Are you going to be using them on road most of the time or just for off roading? I had some Insa turbos that look just like that but they do wear down pretty quick on tarmac:augie
Also be careful cause they are an absolute giggle in the wet:sly like roundabouts, stopping and over steer:naughty
Enjoy:D
