Hi I have to day been contacted by Bat21 (paul)

He has informed me that he has been involved in a road Traffic Accident Rear ended by a Lorry.
His patrol Rolled several times leaving them trapped in the patrol for more than an hour
until they were cut free, they have lost every thing in the car,
there mobile phone battery is low and have lost all belongings and chargers.
They are suffering many Injuries but nothing Broken and stuck in Spain.
and there insurance is being shit.

This is the last word I have heard at this time, I am trying to get local contact number
were i can contact him has any one ells heard anything at all.
please do not try to call him at this time there is no response from the phone

Sorry to hear that,Dave. I'm sure we all wish everyone involved a speedy and full recovery. Hope their injuries are not too serious. Send our best if you do manage to make contact again. It might be small consolation but my brother's wife took ill on holiday in Spain and spent ime in hospital there, says the treatment in the hospital was first class and staff couldn't do enough for her. They all spoke perfect English ,too.

Capt Limey is north of the border up the other side of Toulouse, probably too far away though, depending on where Bat is?

Hi Guys

Capt Limey here. I'm about four hours from the Spanish border and happy to offer whatever assistance I can. (Don't speak the lingo but good at sign language!) Anyone know where Bat and family are in Spain?

I recall there was an introduction from the Spanish Nissan 4X4 club some time last year, perhaps another source of local assistance???

Keep up the info flow.

Regards CL.

Thanks for the kind offers of help guys, we got back yesterday afternoon, my poor Patrol will not be coming home though. A Moroccan driving a French breakdown truck decided to ram us off the motorway in Torrablanca, we were doing 58mph (GPS evidence) and he was doing approximately 90 - 100 on impact :(

Lucy and I are still extremely traumatized from the whole thing and will be off to the docs in the morning.

Jesus Christ Bat....you and your wife are the luckiest people alive today I'd say.....that had all the makings of a real tragedy.

had to be a tailgating frenchman didn't it, how typical is that....they never learn....

Anyway, thank goodness you are both still standing mate. :clap:clap:clap

Absolutely shocked by the news and pictures. Good that you are both alive and reasonably well. Material things can get replaced, the important thing is that you're both here and home.

If I can do any small thing, let me know.

Regards to you and Family, Go Steady, Lee, Sue and nippers.

Hello Paul and Lucy.

So pleased to see your both back home safe at last and it must be such a relief to have walked in though your front door to a much safer place after what you have been though.

I have met you both and can say I know you a little more than some on here and looking at Lucy’s face in photo 7 I can see the fear in her face while stood beside your motor she just looks so dazed and shocked, Maybe shes just counting your blessings?

I think members have said it all and I really don’t know what more I can add only that you have our best wishes and hope you both take it steady and make a full recovery.

Best wishes and regards from both of us.

Mav.

I just looked at the photos, and its hard to beleive anyone coud walk away from that! I wont say you were luky because if you were you wouldn't have been in the acident at all. There is not a lot of luck in getting involved in a collision like that. Glad to know you are both OK, All the best! :thumbs
