Approx 1850 kg empty.
Going to get some ramps now as I appear to have lost my old set.
Hi Boggert, when I got my certificate of compliance for my LHD Terrano 11 on it it said 1995 kg  BBBBIIIIIIGGGGGG Beast
your gonna want 2-2.5 tonne at least to feel safe id have thought theyll be capable of holding x amount over stated weight as safety factor

Just had a quick look and many seem tobe rated at 1 Tonne per ramp so you've got loads to spare there, that means they'd support a 3.5tonne vehicle (took a bit off cos won't be 50/50 weight distribution) and as jace implied that will be the safe working load (SWL) not sure what the ratio is for supporting stuff but for lifting it's 1:7 ie a 1 tonne lifting strap will break when you apply 7 tonnes to it. Support is probably more like 1:2. Not suggesting you go over SWL by the way - just for info.
Father-in-law made his :!: I recon they would sink the Bismark 8O oh yes it is well now you know who done it
I thought of making my own, but its easier and cheaper to buy them. Plus mine would probably be so heavy I would not be able to lift them! LOL
i prefer axl stands depends on what surface your on aswell ramps little more forgiving

I find ramps have there uses but they always get in the way I would rather invest in four good quality axle stands.
I am going to stick this in here to save starting a new thread as its just a quick question,
