id say lots longer...
id offer to help, but to busy sorry mate
i think if i had to do a clutch on t2 i think i would take engine out, that way you could change core plugs and any seals that may need changing, just a thought.

well what can i say clutch assy went a lot easier than i thought:D from
start to finish including road test and re-set front torsion bars 4.5 hours :thumbs
to say i'm well chuffed is an understatement and no problems at all long the way.

I'd be willing to drive down from Yorkshire if he can do them that quick, willing to give out any tips on how it went so quick??? :D
normally takes a mechanic about 3-4 hours to do a clutch, so i would guess about 8 hours:thumbs:lol

right. so i know whwew im going if i need a new one fitted!
what i forgot to say is i work in a ford garage and done there on my 2 poster
ramp with a mate, so a little bit of a cheat really:clap. but to be honest was
dreading doing it but really surprised how straight forward it was, the only bits
that were tricky getting the starter motor top bolt out and refitting the box,
but we used 2 hydrulic pump up stands so the box didnt actually touch the
ground, a lot of work but well worth it.
it's just shame my mate at work is emigrating to australia in 2 weeks time:doh so glad i got it done before he went.
cheers eboy
ps if you do have one changed make sure in input shaft is clean, and smear it with a lubricating grease cos the pedal is light and smooth now.
