hi all another newbee from suuny South Wales
just bought a (R)reg 2.7TD LWB Maverik.
its got 105k on the clock and only cost (£950)
had an M.O.T today and a pleasant supprise that it only failed on 1brake calliper :thumbs:thumbs.
if i am correct on what i have read this is exactly the same as the terrano in every way ?? body,engine gearbox ect
if i am right (please correct me if wrong)does any1 know when buying parts is it cheaper with FORD or NISSAN.

How do and welcome.
Usually cheaper at Nissan, but some parts cheaper on fleabay:cool:
Your calliper could be seized , it's a common problem. Take it off and give it a good seeing too:thumbs
You could save a bunch of squids:sly
If you fancy a little outing this weekend a few of us are off for a bit of green(ish) offroading.:augie

fairplay the price i paid i was looking for a few spends for the mot but i was VV happy with the outcome.

Welcome and yes they are identical in almost every way, theres a few trim detial differences, radios etc but thats it, mechanically they ae the same. The imported (from Japan) NissanMistrals ae almost the same too but there are a couplemore differences on them , like th rear door and number plate holder and the front calipers etc.
