Our vehicles at work

I have just seen a bit of a documentary on TV from longleat safari park,

they are running a zebra painted TDI Maverick left-hand drive,

snorkelled
roof rack like the 110 landy type
rear door ladder upto roof rack
full nudgebar
and stainless steel cover (missing our logo lol)

snorkel looks to be from a discovery, plastic corrugated tubing and mushroom snorkel top

so if anyone goes to longleat at anytime can you try and give it once over and see if they will let you take some pix of the engine bay for the snorkel modifications they have done please.

Its only 2 miles up the road from me i will try and get up there but they dont fully open until the end of march

i have offered them a bit of a write up in the newsletter for some photos of the outside( and under the bonnet).

southam police had a terrano for ages theyve replaced with a pathfinder now it was all liveried up awsell. i think if maker can be found on snorkel itll sell like hotcakes on here alone

I have spoken to driver of the LHD Mav and taken lots of pictures, i am going to give the full story to robobone with pics for news letter as it is a very interesting story.

theyve replaced the terrano now with pathfider them having it made me look at them i thought good enough for them good enough for me! drove past station tonight the pathfinder was outside they repair the smashed up ones at southam aswelll there was bmw estate and big volvo looking sad and an ldv cub van(nissan serena)

hope everyone is still leaving club flyers on trucks they see, wondered once or twice about leaving some with car dealers when they have ours on the forecourts.

btw was talking to a lady with a mistral today, didnt know about club but does now :wink: reckons down sized/graded from a voyager but glad did for the auto box. blacked out rear windows ready for kids dvd too, looked great as black over silver scheme. oh and relation has one too.....

Whilst I was in Ireland (Dublin area) last week I noticed that the Garda (Police) used quite a number of Terrano's also the Irish army seemed to have a number of Patrols of different ages.

Environment agency in Rye had two of them when I was there yesterday

I'm in the forces and there is a white Terrano II that patrols our airfield, flashing bits, blacked out windows, etc, looks smart

Keep meaning to take a camera, but I see a number of South Yorkshire Polices Terranos every week, when I go into their garage for work. Not sur how many they've got but theres seems to be plenty.

Also I noticed that they have different axles to the other ones I've seen, these ones don't have th third member tye diff, they have an access panel on the rear of the diff like a transit for those that know transits, anyone else got one of these.

South Yorkshire Transport Police also have at least one Terrano, I see it parked up at Sheffield Station every week.

was in walsall by ikea yesterday btp tipped up with pathfinder alll liveried up and nice slimline roof light
