Hi,
have a nice awning for sale, but aint really sure of its true size in cms, so i can list it for sale properly. I know it fits my Piper 1200 T van. Does anyone know where to measure from/to.
Thanks Wayne:nenau

Hiya, the general rule for measuring awnings is from the ground, round the awning channel of the caravan, back to the ground at the rear. Basically where the awning would attach to the 'van so I would measure the piping on the awning???

Does it not say on the bag, or on a label on the awning the size?

Other easier option would be to ring somewhere that sells awnings (towsure etc) tell them you are wanting to buy one for your 'van, and ask them what size you would need!!!! :)

Most awnings have a small label stitched into the part which slides into the awning rail. if not use a piece of string and slide it into your awning rail of your caravan ground to ground to get the correct size that way.

Thanks for advice chaps.
nothing on the bag to give me any pointers, so looks like measuring the piping as you have said. get it out the weekend and measure up. Got a club member who may be interested.

thanks again Wayne
