Got my truck impounded today:(
Chuffing stupid plod and ALL his mates in the layby playing licence top trumps:confused:
Ruddy planks did the usual small talk testicles while checking tax insurance etc, while his spotty twat plod bum chum looked at the tyres:eek:
Those aren't road legal tyres sir:confused:
Oh yes they are says I and haven't you got anything better to do, I'm trying to get to work here?
Not now you're not sonny:doh
Oh and it seems your license is revoked............WHAT
So now I have to claim from DVLA why my license was revoked in 2004 !
£150 impound fee, a visit to court soon too, what a fun day out:(
Strange when you call twat head plod to school to bust a drug dealer, they were too busy!!!
Cause they're all havin' a bloody picnic in the chuffin' layby:doh
It's a fookin' police state I tell you
Vote liberty shoot brown:augie
Buses stink
Those aren't road legal tyres sir:confused:
How did they decide that decision, what make are they?
Oh and it seems your license is revoked...........
What's the story behind this fella :nenau
Buses stink
Thats me told then..:eek::D
They have been at it for ages round here, got a £30 on the spot the other week cos they couldn't find anything wrong with our mr2 so said the front number plate had the wrong spacing on the letters.:doh

Insa turbo sahara rallies! No idea why they are an issue cause the license bit was a higher card.
It seems that the DVLA didnt tell me they wanted my license to put some points on . This was way back in 2004.
I've had my papers checked loads of times since and had points too.
My paper copy I found today has those points on it so someone has dropped a clanger.Even the points are finished too.
I've sent a suitably worded letter to DVLA taday and see the solicitor tomorrow.

As your tyres are road legal & if the DVLA are proven to have dropped a clanger then the can't charge you for inpounding your motor & you might be able to get compen for loss of income due to not having your motor

I do hope so, it's such a pain as every thing assumes you are wrong, not the system.
Dvla said on the phone today "oh well send your paper bit in and we'll renew it for you straight away "
No fee , cheers a bunch

and as you say, call them out for something serious and they're nowhere to be seen....useless plonkers. People like us are just an easy, soft target for them to get a few brownie points....

Probably why the Dyfed Powys plod force have the very high clean up rate they boast.
Just been on their web site and they even say there that next year even more of the budget is going on plod picnics in laybys:confused:
Apparently they even do DHSS checks on who they pull now.
Bloody police state I tells you grr:banghead

Bunch of shysters! I had a clean licence for ten years before moving to Wales - six months in and I've already won six bloody points! The first one was a radar trap and the young copper was so apologetic it was a laugh, but did he let me off? did he hell!

MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A COPY OF YOUR LICENSE BEFORE YOU SEND IT
A friend of mine was in a very similar situation to you, when he inquired where his replacement license was, he was told they had no record of it OR HIM.
After a long battle, he had to apply for a new license and re take his test

wouldnt rac recover it then.... might have even sorted the tyre issue out roadside. the wife could then have driven it home
the scumm filth wont roll over to your claims now they got your truck they will just find other issues with it. to save face

NNOO old bill said under section bla bla they get to seize car full stop.
I asked if I could have it towed but oh no. Neither would they let anyone else drive it back for me even if they were insured etc:doh

but they can only impound the car if its un-roadworthy not because you cant drive.... cos your friends could drive it.insured of course
so if you get a data sheet from insa your quids in
but then the scum will say they were damaged or something i guess... "why" cos they can

Well you see plod get their own rules dont they:eek:
It appears that under section 165A-C they get to impound because I have no license! That means I'm not insured so they get the car:o
Then I get to pay some stealth tax to that twat brown so he can go and throw it at the merchant *ankers while I cant pay my mortgage cause I have to pay that twat brown some more stealth tax.////...

Really feeling for you. Your plod seem to be full of jobsworths. At least most of them over here are human most of the time.

WHAT BLOODY SONG??? :nenau
This is a bad story mate. Likely that any 4x4 wearing mud terrains will be in for the same treatment soon. Just as true for any 4x4 modified in nay way I think.
Hope you can get it sorted soon and in your favor too.

so Pete, when will you get your truck back mate?

Funny enough Wolf, I have met a few that were ok. Lived next door to a Sergeant and he was ok,currently live next door to a just retired Det. Segt.(retired on Tuesday) he's ok. Secretary of the Regional Game Council is a cop and he's ok too. Maybe I'm just lucky. Strangely enough, Segt I lived next door to said English cops deal only in black and white, either you are right or wrong, they rarely use discretion, like our lads will do on occasion. By the way I'm now in Laois but born and raised in Dublin.

I can get the truck back any time, as long as I have a driver who is specificaly insured to drive it:o

Noticed this morning ,while being driven to work, that those crazy fool PC types had chosen a different layby for todays picnic:confused:
Mind you it was a most spectacular layby with parking for at least 8 meat wagons:rolleyes:
Business must be booming for little darlings.....................
