but few weeks back some didn't make it in, I did offer to go get them at £10 a mile, but no one took me up on the offer.... wonder why?

There's always a downside to driving a 4x4, can't use the excuse of roads being slippy,full of snow etc. LOL. I'm sat at home but not because I can't get to work, strangely enough nobody wants concrete when it's snowing. Wonder why? This three day week lark is turning into a no day week for me at present. Oh well, more time to browse the internet, pity I have no money to go shopping on ebay.

you don't see people complaining when the 4x4's come to rescue them in the snow. if they want to cut pollution down then get rid of buses, simple:thumbs
