not sure when this was on, found it looking for something else.

Caravans : A British love affair, great shot of a 60's sprite on
a beach with family... I ve dowloaded it to watch later but
gather can only retain programme for 30 days.

I saw it, but I think that most of the participants were a bit quirky and/or eccentric, and not completely representative of caravanners past or present.

The articles on the CI group and footage of older caravans was interestiing though.

Not a bad programme really and definitely worth a look.

Thing is I'm so sad, I'd just take it up the Ridgeway or into the woods in Wales and sit in it making a brew! Cos The Redhead kept calling me a pikey for keeping on about it, when we were renovating our last house I put two white plastic chairs on the front drive and lit a fire with a billycan on it just before she came home...the look on her face was priceless!! She couldn't even speak, just stormed into the house and slammed the door! LMAO!
