bit like that nissan concept car.

squint and you can see those body kits done
for rangey chassis, like in challange aneka etc.

Have I missed something ? Who built it ? When was it on telly ?

IMHO, it does look slightly odd. Might look better in red, with Dakar decals and charging across the desert !

seriously think Eagle? Cars did an angular body replacement kit for rotten rovers
mainly aimed at 70's rangeys before trend came along to rebody as 'defender'
type hybrids. Aneka Rice and her Challange programme of early 90s saw motor
revealed from a 32 tonner artic which acted as head quarters for her fund, material
and labour gathering to complete local hi-visisbility projects, like refurbishing an
abandoned church to become a circus act school as did in Sheffield. In recent
years Aneka did a remake but was using a fairly standard Jeep TJ i believe.
