what did you get the wife or even loved one??
me, nothing. :( Mrs Zippy had a mug of tea in bed though
I bought Sam a card and big big box of chocolates because he loves chocolate:thumbs

Me and the mrs don't bother either. She came back from shopping talking about a bloke in front of her who paid £25 for a dozen red roses. She warned me that if ever I came back with a dozen roses she wouldn't speak to me for a week, it's almost worth it £25 for some peace and quiet:lol

took sheila for a meal Mc donalds take away.
drove to Hardwick hall lakes .we had Mc chichen sandwich /chips and 10 Mc donalds chicken nuggets each .
while we were tucking in a young couple pulled up he jumped out of his car ,started getting picknic things out and set them up on one of the tables .picnic basket ,wine ect then she got out scoffed the food and bolted back to the car he cleared the things away and then got in the car and off they went .
I WONDER IF SHE WAS HAPPY WITH I AM TAKING YOU OUT FOR A MEAL SPEACH.
we looked at an exibition of fabrick arts .
then went for a walk around the lake had a snow ball fight, got back to the Disco put the kettle on had a hot drink sat and watched the ducks and geese for awile before heading home

well we both managed to buy each other a box of roses choccies with knowing,
mined mine to mrs was bigger and packet of allsorts, oh and a home made card
thanks to a neat web site that enabled a pick'n'mix approach to designing it!
bit of a panic when found our local general store didnt have any v cards only
get well, birthday etc. google saves the day again. mrs thought it was original,
like me! lol.

my lady and me actually got engaged last night, i thought it was about time as we've been together for 18yrs!!!! It was lovely all the same.

Thanks, I do try but she's worth it. Date unknown for the marriage, i guess after 18yrs there's no hurry :lol
