According to google earth and geographically speaking, the centre of Yorkshire is right outside my back window.
Its a triangulation point on top of a hill on the ground where the battle of Towton (war of the roses) took place.
Im thrilled to bits to find that out. Not sure why tho ?
Whats outside your back window ?
And is it an arched, square or round window ?
Mines square.
Gas bbq,5 wheels ,shed, hosepipe ,250 yds away they built the Mallard fastest steam locomotive.:thumbs

Apart from google earth indicating the tree as being the centre of Yorkshire, it is also the descendant of the bur tree in which a boy sniper used to shoot and kill Lord Dacre (one of the Lancastrian commanders) with a crossbow from at the battle of Towton in 1461.

from my back window, I see my other home, an Abbey and a Spectrum, funnily enough
its all 3 rolled into 1 so I look out of a window into a window that in turn I can look
out of and be literally anywhere else in the world the t2 will take it.
where ever I my roam; my Abbey provides my home, with apologies to Paul Young and
Metallica, not necessarilly in that order!
