As title I am off to the wood this Sunday before the prats that run this country shut it down again, we are booked into two good eateries Xmas day and Boxing day, however if they shut them down we will be having the whole family round for Xmas festivities instead, the world has gone stark raving mad, have a good one Rick

All set for tomorrow, but had one big issue, when I fitted the off road wheels one of the fronts was flat, some months since I last used them and the problem is they are fitted with tubes and the valve had vanished, had a hunt round for an alternative as the tyre place could not promise to have it done by 5 when they close, found one but it is a Terrano wheel and they need a small mod to fit which we did with Mr angle grinder, then realised that the tyre for the NSF was on the wrong way round, ah well it roles so good enough, then the tyre place rang to say my one was all good, so stuck that in the back as spare, not changing it now, hope to have some nice pics tomorrow, Rick

I get days like that
We were ďoing the clutch the other day. All going well you'll I pulled the gearbox back. It felt a little "springy" so the boy gave ne a hand and ping, off it came. The springy was the bloody crank sensor onto of the box Wasn't one on the Black Pearl
Couldn't start the engine, not even any limp mode action
Found one 30 miles away . Went to get it only gor the bloke selling to snap the bugger taking it out
Had to buy a new one . So one clutch ,3 days

Had a grand day at the wood today, no real heavy rain for a long time so the site was mainly a thin coating of mud on hard soil under which made things interesting, ie no grip at all in the drier places, very little in the way of still pics but what I do have will follow, do have full vid of whole day but will take time to go through it all.

what we see in the 5 pics to follow are just one area that proved problematic.

Above us to the right is a stuck motor with a burnt out clutch, we were coming down from high up on the left but due to the stuck motor we could not proceed, there was a track to our right that I though came out at a lower level but impossible to climb up from previous knowledge but going down will be good, wrong it simply took us down into a real boggy U that came up to the same track that the burnt clutch was on, saw the site owner with his tractor recovering the clutch job and he said will not even take his tractor down there, so here we are after negotiating the deep mud and unable to go back
