What is it Rick? (Don't recognise it as something I've had to replace)

It bolts onto the front wheel spindle with the disk brake shroud, it helps keep the rubbish from the main hub oil seal, Rick

Rob, have you dealt with these guy’s before and had a positive experience?
I have tried to order a few parts from them but even though it says “in stock” on their website I always end up getting a phone call that they can’t source it.

I have tried ordering a couple of those seals but their web site leaves a bit to be desired although I have said that billing and delivery are different when I come to pay they become the same and also have been unable to complete the payment, seems to get stuck in a loop, so will be ringing in the morning, Rick
I've looked into this company before!!! The company address is registered to a very suspicious looking street in Watford!!!
Try calling Rob at the proper Japanese 4x4 Spares, again, his website is not the best but this guy can find ANYTHING, please mention my name when you call (Zac or Banshee)

Rick did you manage to get hold off them?

Yes hope so as said could not complete on line but rang this morning and two should be coming, about £24 inc post, Nissan wanted £50 each and none in England so a good wait as well, I would have talked about their on line issues but gentleman's English was not too good so gave it a miss, Rick

Yes, I noticed as well that his English wasn’t that brilliant. As long as he supplies the goods then that is all that matters.
I was going to say that if he couldn’t supply them you could have added them to my parcel from Oz. Fortunately for you it is not required.

The shaft seals that I ordered on Saturday came today but completely the wrong ones, after several phone calls the local factors declared that they cannot get axle and gear box seals for my motor, so ordered two from same people I ordered the dust seals with, so stuck it all back together minus the drive shaft and diff oil.
The stub axle oil seal land was in a sorry state so stuck it in the lathe as seen here

Only took a few thou of it but looking much better and gave it a smooth with 1200 grit emery

And for the benefit of FT, this is where the 6 bolt dust seal rubs on the hub, guess this will not be so on the Y61, but for me it does give added protection from Slindon mud, Rick

Sadly I cannot get that in my lathe to get rid of that groove made by the old seal so a drill powered wire brush will have to do, Rick

No, on the Y61 there is more then enough clearance between the grease catcher and the hub. Wonder why they changed the design between the two models. :nenau
