Just to make you all aware, many on Ebay are offering bottom ball joints for Maverick and Terrano, they are not suitable, they will alter the camber by 20mm so making the vehicle dangerous, I wanted to alert Ebay to it but could not find the right path, maybe Zac can do it, Rick

The pre 96 MK 1 square headlight models had the shorter bottom ball joints.
Might have one somewhere to take a dimension from.

Here is a pic for reference, the one on the left is correct for all the T2's I have owned, I did have a 95 for a while but never looked at the joint in question, Rick

so it looks like to me from ricks pick is the length from 4 fixing holes to center of the swivel is a fair bit longer then thus putting camber out.

Thats right.
Always been the case if you fit the earlier mk 1 lower ball joints.
Pulls the wheel in at the bottom and puts the camber to shit.

Milner Off Road pulled this one on me and told me that I'd have to go to a tyre place to get my tracking redone :doh :lol I had to take a similar pic to Ricks before Julia would agree to refund me.

Note - Anything brought from Milner OFF ROAD that you fit and then prematurely fails because it's been used OFF ROAD wont be covered :doh :doh :doh

:stopbeing: Julia!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Milners do list them as up to May 96 and from May 96 onward but they are still cheap shite that don't last.:(:(

You’re better off sticking with blueprint. They list both types, and if you eBay the part number they’re pretty cheap from some of the bigger sellers

I don't actually rate the blueprint upper ball joints.
Didn't even get a year out of them on my lifted motor.
Have currently got moog uppers and borg and beck lowers on mine.
Last time i used the moog's i got a couple of years service from them:thumb2

I've always used blueprint, especially on my toyotas and daihatsu's with no failures upto now. Can't comment on the balljoints yet as i've not replaced one on the maverick yet lol

It's the angle the upper sits at when lifted on the torsion bars that wears them quicker.
Not the worse brand out there by far and most blueprint parts I've fitted have lasted fairly well, just not the ball joints.
