as the title says..just thought it polite to say hi.
i currently own a mitsubishi delica l300. itll need replacing soon and it looks like the 3 door 2.7td terrano/maverick will do the job quite nicely.
i offroad quite alot in wales and tow a tupperware mansion.
do you think the terrano up to the job?

Welcome aboard JC, it'll tow just fine:thumbs. It'll off road even better. You will allways get the odd teething problem with a motor that is new to you but this will be the place to get help and a little banter too:thumb2.

hi,
tupperware mansion, like that, will add to tin tent and wobble box lol.
yep no probs, had members dragging upto to uk limit for vehicle and
beyond ( cough , officer).
not trying to put you off but why a t2 v say a l400 delica see quite
a few of them dragging big uns too, and been on my alternative list.
frequently on caravan sites and rallies i see more terrano/mavericks
tugging than discos. my favourite quote in this subject is when the
caravan club/green flag mayday aquired atleast one t2 to loan to
members to continue their hols following their own tug being out of
action...an endoresement by my reckoning.
welcome btw, long may you stay...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys(and girls)
Ive been a member of the delica club for years and ive got to be honest the l400 doesnt float my boat.
Add to that the lllonnnggg list of reliability issues made more difficult by the fact theyre import only.
Fuel economy has to be an issue nowadays and youre lucky to get 26-27mpg.

Hi John & welcome to the club:D:thumb2:D:thumb2
Welcome aboard from Plymouth !
I take my LWB Maverick out laning, and it goes everywhere where my DOC mates go, no problems.
I haven't towed anything with it, but I see loads of T2's towing large "miserable aluminium boxes" on the M5, and they all can't be wrong !
