View Full Version : Holiday back home
While you guys and gals were having a great time camping, I went home to Scotland to see the family.
I took some pics but have to upload them individually.
I don't need to say why I miss this place soooooo much. I feel so free here.
Looking at the pictures of where I used to live, sometimes I wonder whether I'm going forward or backwards in life :nenau

Great pictures - only been North of the Border once - a weekend in Edinburgh it was fantastic.
I love the views especially of the boats & water, when they were alive my parents were looking at retiring to Scotland in the end they stayed local and downsized instead.

That picture with the boats and the water is the area where my wife used to go up with her Grandad and feed their sheep when she was young.
You don't realise what beauty you have until you leave it. :(
Loving the pics👍👍
A tour of Scotland is on my to do list, not been up that way for at least 20 years.
My wife is from Scotland, she was born in Greenock near Glasgow but moved down here when she was young.
Thanks Elty, there are so many nice places here in the UK that we never visit, and I plan to do more as I get older. :thumb2

We've friends live in Carluke. Met them 25 years ago in Tenerife and we try and visit every other year, they do the same. Scotland is a beautiful place and we have had the privilege of our very own Scottish tour guide :D:thumbs
Looks lush, Like wales but bigger. Thinking about spending 7-10 days in scotland in the next few weeks

Yeah all private land in Scotland I'm afraid T-Doug. A lot of these pictures are just outside of Crieff and the Sma' Glen. The latter pictures is Loch Tay at Kenmore.
