My Mrs got some waffle boards for me for Christmas from Trackmat, they look pretty decent but heavy, much cheaper than maxtrax and they can be used for bridging. Anyone else got anything similar

Yes, me :D
Waffle boards are tremendous bits of kit and so rarely used it seems.
I've got myself out of some pretty nasty spots.
Top tip time : tie a rope loop to one end so you can recover them again once they're full of mud. If you think they're heavy now :lol
You also need a sticky stick to poke the mud out of the holes again. Great job for kids :sly

Thanks for the tips, good shout with the rope. Kids have all left home I’ll have to give the missus the job with the sticky stick lol:eek:

I have waffle boards Neil.
They’ve never let me down and they’re pretty versatile to.
The only downsides you’ve mentioned are weight and filling up with mud as Pete said.
I’m gonna try the Chinese Maxtrax.

DI looked at maxtrax and have seen them used in many videos but extremely expensive and you can't really bridge with them. When you say Chinese maxtrax I assume your talking about the eBay ones?
