Hello!
been a few years but I am back. Left the club a long time ago due to various reasons including a change of car. Sold my Terrano to a friend who i think is a member on here (Pete), and bought an XTrail. The XTrail has been really fantastic to be honest, the only issues i have had are brakes which by all accounts is common. Goes through the calipers! Been a very reliable car and I still have it, but i bought back my old Terrano from Pete so here I am again!
Hope you are all well, im going to lurk about to see who is still here and who is new.

Hey Clive. Welcome back fella.
Hope you're enjoying your new/old truck :thumb2
hiya Pete, Ive been meaning to ring you but works been stupid since i got back off holiday, will ring you next week ;)
trucks great - bit smelly this week for some reason so Im going to fit a new cabin filter in case its that. Also my remote fob stopped working!
So when i got it off you, I was able to program the fob, no problems. Then that failed so I bought a used one off ebay, again programmed fine. That worked fine right up until today, and now i cant reprogram. Its odd because the one i bought was fully refurbed - new switches and tinned connections.
Other than that and the odd clunk its fantastic and oh my god that aircon really is bonkers i cant get over how cold it is ;)

Smelly :nenau I changed the cabin filter a little over two years ago, I don't know what the time scale is, I guess it depends on a few factors.
Maybe it's that haddock I left under the seat :augie :lol
dunno yet, im going to get a new filter as the old one is a bit dirty (supposed to be changed yearly but its a forgotten service item). Not sure what the smell is, its odd, didnt smell before. Im going to look for leaks because it might be water getting in somewhere into carpet

Good point.
Give it the hose treatment :thumb2
My sunroof leaked, so I Tiger Sealed it. I have a dislike of them anyway. I use its power supply for the reverse camera :thumb2

One of my Terranos didn’t have a sunroof, pity the car was a dog. Got px’d for the skoda but it’s still mot’d. I’d probably fixed most of the mechanical issues but I’d seen the boot floor and it’s bubbling rot when it was 9 years old.

Welcome back, mind seen you on fb so its not so long really.
Like Jim, I'm on a 3L as well now. Always liked your 2.7 though
and just didn't have the funds for it when you sold it.
Rich.
hi!
yh i would like a 3.0 but this Terrano should be fine for at least a year or two - im not fussing over it though as its intended to be a workhorse/7 seater for when i take my friends and their kids out and so far its doing that very well!

TBH did not realise you had been absent that long.
I am still here - we sold our much loved Terrano 2.7 TDi Auto r3mR had a brief fling with a Santa Fe that had a bit of a mishap near the local Aldi & was a write off.
Always wanted an Auto Patrol but when we looked they were either Starship mileage or out of our budget.
Presently have a Jeep WJ (mime) & a WK (Gaffers) series Grand Cherokees, not perfect but we have got used to the drawbacks.
ah yes i remember popping in at some point and seeing you had got some Jeeps. I like the Cherokee, although ive never owned one. Always felt comfy to me and big.
