I eventually made it out here after a long days travel yesterday!
I was meant to pick up a Mustang convertible at the airport, but when I got there they said that they only had one convertible left... A VW Beetle! :doh
Sensing my displeasure, they offered me this...

Hope you are having a great time out there.
So, how does that car sound then? Is the exhaust system and engine sound proofed to death or does it still have that nice V8 engine burble and slight rawness to it.

It's not deafening inside the car, but you can hear it... Then there's a button that lowers the exhaust restriction giving it an even more awesome noise! :naughty

That was my 1st thought... But it comes with two problems.
1 - Time (Because of Work)
2 - Money
I don't have enough of either of the above.
I can solve number 2... The money could be taken care of in the form of my American Express... But unfortunately it's the time that's really gonna stop me. :doh

Great pictures of the Shuttle, it always seems sad to see an aircraft as a static museum piece and I know in this case it’s a little more special than an aircraft. It’s like the Concord we seem to have gone backwards since it was retired.
Yeah, the Shuttle looked amazing!
