Luckily a mate alerted me to it, two prime movers, two 10 axle dollies, do not know what it weighed, but each axle has 8 wheels so total of 160 load carrying wheels, I have some more pics if anyone interested, Rick

It is a transformer for our substation in Potmans lane they had a smaller one delivered last year, I guess it probably weighs around 500 tonnes and the transport medium will weigh at least that again, Rick

I once worked with someone in heavy haulage (not on this scale but up to 180 tonne) I think it is interesting work but not so much fun for the second driver.

I did Europe for 5 years with a 32 ton artic, loved every minute, but that job for me would be dead boring, but nonetheless would love a drive, Rick

OK for info buffs like me each Prime mover weighs 72 T and has a Volvo Penta engine producing 700 HP or 515 Kw computer connected with unlimited other movers in the train, each one can pull 300 T, Rick

Nice!
Our street is one of the designated roads for "special" transports. We see at least 2 or 3 of those transports per night, mainly now with wind turbine parts. Every turbine needs at least 7 transports: 1 for each blade, 1 for the nacelle, and 3 or 4 for the pylon.
Also already seen ocean yachts passing, army equipment, bridge parts...

Have to say, our car is parked next to the street, never had any damage at all. These guys can drive :)

First off they are 3 hours behind plus they will be using the new road so will not be passing along my road, if I want to have a look I will have to walk 10 mins up the road to the new roundabout at about 10 pm, so we will have to see if I feel like braving the cold, Rick
