Just had a look for the route of the Tour De Yorkshire, this is really sad but I’ve been anticipating the route being announced since this years event passed about 10 mins from home. This time it’s quite a distance away and I’m contemplating having a day or two off work to go and watch it somewhere. I really need to have a word with myself :doh
Wondering if I could wild camp somewhere with the truck:doh

Could this be the beginning of a plan?

Get on their website and have a look at the routes, it’s a four day event now.

I'd look at either the Saturday or Sunday because they're away from Leeds and conurbations.
Saturday I think I'd go to the climb just before Scarborough (Hackness) ot th Sunday on the climb before they head round Malham.
I think that the climbs are the best to watch stage racing (unless you're on a motorbike following the little beggars).
Saturday probably better as I'm not sure about road closures and you'll probably need to be there on Friday night if you want to park roadside.
As I have a fridge in the truck and an awning. Why wouldn't I want to be roadside? :naughty
