The map is self explanitory, simply a map of places where you can overnight freely with fear of being fined.
In Spain there are villages that could fine you for simply parking up a mobile home, but I think these places for us intrepid car campers and RTTers are a godsend (even better if you know the proper wild camping spots where los plod is unlikely to venture
).
