Howya! Just joined. Main transport is my x-reg Nissan Patrol GR. From new. 148K so far - motorways sadly, not green lanes. But 6 x 1500 mile round trips to West of Ireland per year proves what a comfortable beast the Patrol is - Irish roads are not motorways :lol. Fun driving in '82 SWB Series 3 Land Rover and '71 BSA B50T (500cc single). Apart from helping to maintain the affluent life style of the Irish brewing fraternity by consuming my share of the 'black stuff', I play a bit of 'green' golf (I donate golf balls to the environment - usually the deepest rough and widest ponds) and allow my dog (Wire Fox Terrier) to take me for (infrequent) walks. Bit of sea fishing when in West of Ireland, as Atlantic is only 200yds away (a well struck 9-iron :sly).
Interestingly, there are a lot more Nissan Patrols in Ireland that I meet in UK. Which is a problem for me as so few garages here seem to understand the innards of the Patrol and resort to, apparently, random changing of parts (at my expense) when problems occur.
Anyway, it is New Year's Eve. A fresh 2009 to look forward to. Happy New Year everyone. :D

St Johns Point Donegal, overlooking Sligo/Mayo. Fish must be pretty dumb though if I can catch them. Pass Longford regularly enroute to Donegal via N4. Happy New Year

Tks. Happy New Year. Was tough decision between Wire, Welsh, Irish or Jack Russell but Wire won. Makes excellent co-pilot in Patrol balancing on central armrest

'Tis a very small world - I'm in Bletchley too (Tattenhoe Lane).
And yes, I'm pretty sure Dysons are still there...
