Hi Guys and may I introduce Big Blue the replacement truck for my wife. It's a young 54 plate 3litre with Nissan FSH. She's got a few bits and pieces to sort but I paid the right price for it. Main thing is the tin worm has passed this one by without stopping for a munch. A great MOT history too and boy does it go well!!!

Will sort a better photo tomorrow.

Well done Jim, looking forward to the better pics, but great machine......3ltr SVE lovely.......and nothing at all wrong with autos by the way.......in no way gay.......remember that I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay.........:augie

Wifes had her first drive in it and it's also the first manual since the accident at begining of December, ok February she started driving but has only driven my project truck which is auto. So far although it's nice she prefers a automatic.

For over forty years of driving I was very tongue in cheek about auto's but the T2 has now swayed my mind. I have a Volvo V70 D5 manual and would be interested in driving one with geartronic for comparison.

Funny you should mention the lumberjack song. On Sunday we had my parents over for a meal and my daughters were going through some old videos they made around the house when they were kids. In one of them I burst into that song. :lol:lol

It will be a little while but when they're on I'll be posting some pics up. I will have all measurements when I've finished so could make more, they will be pretty heavy duty though and certainly not to everyones taste :naughty

No, I found a delightful Scottish girl 20+years ago from Edinburgh, who somehow tolerates my eccentricities........:D:nenau:thumb2

But you may still require therapy....:nenau

I've told him I might know where there's a nice 3litre swb coming up soon:thumbs
My kids have basically grown up with the old Terrano, when we picked it up all those years ago he claimed the third row all to himself but like clothes the third row got handed down as all three grew out of them:lol
So a Terrano is his ambition so who knows.

Nice truck Jim, glad you've managed to find something :thumb2

Still a few things at play first before Grandad's will be ready but just to mix it all up a bit again it looks like my brother is getting rid of his Jimny and his Clio 197 and having it :lol

Right guys, my intention is to start another project thread when I get my head around the new photo hosting. Until then you were all short changed with the poor photo when I first got it so I've edited the first post and placed a nicer photo there instead.
The first few months have been a little bumpy really, thanks mainly to a rogue garage nearby. As you know she passed an MOT with no advisories last week so I reckon she's a keeper.
Another photo of her here in front of a well known landmark in West Yorkshire.

Why on earth has this photo gone landscape, it's portrait on the iPad. Well people warned me about Apple

Cheers guys it's a looker from a distance but sadly a bit closer and it has it's scars but it was cheap enough and as trout will vouch it has been treated underneath and not just tarted up to sell. As I say I'll start a project thread but thinking about a new laptop as mine is knocking on a bit.

Yes it looks great underneath, but Jim is exaggerating about the trucks appearance close, it's a tidy thing.

JIM, please don't call me trout, it brings back bad memories :D:thumbs

Cheers and welcome aboard by the way. She took a little bit of money when I first got her mainly due to a garage not really know what they were doing on such a vehicle. It’s a great car and has been pretty well looked after with plenty waxoyl underneath, just a few spots that were missed but nothing major. I can definitely recommend the 3 litre in the same way as I can the 2.7.
