Personally I have never come across that term.
However which engine are we talking about?
The Terrano II has 2 variants of the 2.7 engine, the 2.7 td and the 2.7 tdi
(There is also the 3 litre version too.)
The td is a non intercooler version and uses a mechanical pump, whilst the tdi has an intercooler and is ecu controlled.

It's a question had from the US. I think it refers to how many times it sprays fuel into the cylinder. Personal I would of said once for all vehicles. But if they asked the question it must not be the case.

A quick look around suggests that we're talking multijet engines. What is the emgine you refer too?
