Hello all.

I don’t know about you but i would like to start raising for next years children in need and i would like to start this as soon as i can.

I will try raise £1.00 for every member that we have in our club, So at this time next year i will hope to donate, on behalf of the club, approximately £500+ to give to children in need on the Chris Evans show on radio 2.

So i am saying sorry now if anyone sees my pudsey bear bucket at any mini meets, But if anyone has any loose change then it will go to children in need.

I feel very sad to see what’s going on in this world as regards to our children and i do realise that it is not up to us to sort out the problems that we have, but its not the children’s fault either.

I will not ask any member for any money but the collection tub will present where ever i go and i may be able to get a very small Pudsey bear logo on the home page to remind us of this occasion.

Sorry if this offends anyone in any way, But i feel that i need to do my bit to help, but you will not be asked to donate anything at anytime.

All money raised will be paid to children in need from the Nissan and Ford Maverick 4x4 owners club members.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this.

I hope that you will will agree.

Best wishes, Regards. Mav.

Sorry if this offends anyone in any way,

Why should this offend anyone? I think most of us are parents, grandparents or both. I shall certainly chuck my twopennorce in and proud to do so. Good luck to you.

Hello.

As you may have noticed on the home page we now have our own Pudsey bear.

So, start saving your coppers and look out for the Pudsey bucket at Mini meets, rallies and off-road days out.

Every penny raised stays in the uk.

(Sorry Rossco)

Thank you. Mav.

Just a short reminder that Children in need day is 1 month away today, So can anyone that has pledged to give via the club please start to think about getting it sent as if it is by Paypal or cheque then i will need to get it into the club account.

Thanks to Rustygates for your donation and don’t forget to listen to radio 2 on children in need day when i will ring up and give the final amount raised by the club during the Chris Evans tea time show.

Thanks to everyone that has supported this charity this year and may be i can try harder and do better next year.

Regards, Mav.

Its a shame I didn't spot this sooner, as I have just done a fancy dress night drive, "just for fun" maybe we could have still done something similar for this cause.

willing volunteer - dont know who you could possibly mean!!??

Mind you I bet I could charm more than shrapnal / coppers out of some of you, you might even pay to make me go away!!

Well done Iandouglas and Sheila for the sale of there bacon buttie babs earlier today, but thank you goes to everyone that has help with the fund raising,

£180 now raised so far from the members of this club and this will be on Radio 2 later today between 5-7pm.

If anything comes in after the pledge has been made then it can be added to the final total.

Thanks again.

Mav.

(Bet you will be pleased when tomorrow gets here, and i have stopped whingeing on about this.)

As promised £180 was pledged to C.i.n. last night,

I would just like to say a final thank you for this years fundraising and i will make the box on the home page smaller but still leave a link and bring it back in the spring next year when if you dont mind i would like to start again.

Over 19,089,000 pledged for children in the uk.

Fantastic!.

Thanks to all that gave.

Just to round this one off.

This years final amount raised by the club was paid into the C.I.N. account on behalf of the club and its members by Mr Tubbs wife Marie.

Thank you.
