A guy is sitting on the edge of a tank at the sewage treatment works taking swipes at the revolving sprinkler.

A workmate walking past sees this and enquires as to what he's doing.

"It was hot, so I took my jacket off, but I dropped it and now it's caught on the sprinkler. I'm trying to get it."

His mate replies, "Blimey, you're not going to wear that ever again, surely?"

"Of course not" says the guy, taking another swipe at it.

"But my sandwiches are in the pocket"

I like it.

I'm hoping they won't actually tell him to duck at all.

I read a 'snippet' of news the other day......"Will he be impeached, before he is assasinated?"

It doesn't matter if you think he's a moron, at the end of the day he is there because a large proportion of the American people decided that they'd had enough of the same old bulls***t from the ruling elite.

Much the same as here, hence the Brexit result, hence the rise of Ukip, etc.

All these politicians here and over there keep wringing their hands in despair, but if they'd listened to the people and actually followed through on their intentions (I shy away from saying promises, as it is not possible for any politician to make a promise as they are frequently frustrated by others) then these situations would not have occurred.

I'd probably be scared and sick of the state of the country if I believed the Mail and Express too, but I don't and I'm not.
