Just being teaching on a first aid course for the youngsters this weekend. Got 11 of them through St John's Youth First Aid qual and being passed as an assessor too. Now the kids want to form a First Aid team and enter competitors within our organisation.

Great to see them doing so well:clap

Had a minor first aid incident on Friday evening with them that I dealt with so now embarrassingly they got together and gave me a round of applause and I really didn't do anything I just happened to be there and saw it happening.

Top work Jim, how we're not teaching First Aid at schools yet is beyond me

Still teaching R.E though, way better to teach them tripe than something that may allow them to save a life though, well done UK :(

Unusual as a lot of schools in my area are teaching Heart Start. But the problem is they teach it issue a certificate and tick a box. After that it gets forgotten about and like every thing you learn if you don't use it or practice it you forget.
